PURPOSE: An ultrasonic wave diagnosing apparatus is provided to search the position of eyes and to easily detect the user's position. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic wave diagnosing apparatus comprises: infrared ray light emitting diode(101) for irradiating infrared ray； an image acquisition unit(103) which receives light including the infrared ray and obtains user's image； an operation unit(105) which detecting the position of user's eyes using the image of the user's infrared ray image and non-infrared ray image； and a driving unit(107) which automatically control the position of a display based on the position of the eyes.초음파 진단 장치 및 그 제어 방법이 개시된다. 개시된 초음파 영상을 생성하는 초음파 영상 생성부 및 상기 초음파 영상을 표시하는 디스플레이를 구비하는 초음파 진단 장치는, 적외선을 조사하는 적외선 발광 다이오드, 상기 적외선을 포함한 광을 수신하여 사용자의 영상을 획득하는 영상 획득부, 상기 영상 획득부로부터 전달되는 상기 사용자의 적외선 영상과 비적외선 영상의 차영상을 이용하여 눈의 위치를 검색하는 연산부 및, 상기 연산부로부터 전달되는 상기 눈의 위치에 따라 상기 디스플레이의 위치를 자동 제어하는 구동부를 포함한다.
