An object of the present invention is to provide a liposome composition and a pharmaceutical composition exhibiting a high AUC. According to the present invention, a liposome composition containing diacylphosphatidylethanolamine, dihydrosphingomyelin, and cholesterol modified with a hydrophilic polymer as components of a liposome membrane, wherein the liposome composition contains a drug. A liposome composition, wherein the inner aqueous phase contains ammonium sulfate and the molar ratio of the inner aqueous phase sulfate ion to the total aqueous phase drug is 0.36 or more, and a pharmaceutical composition containing the liposome composition are provided.
