PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more appropriately determine a part to be incised, considering the functional level of a liver.SOLUTION: A morphological image which shows a shape of the liver including blood vessels therein and a functional image which shows a functional level at each point of the liver are acquired. A blood vessel area which shows a blood vessel controlling the liver is extracted from the morphological image. Then, a specific partial area in the extracted blood vessel area and the controlled area of the liver that is controlled by the blood vessel in the partial area are determined.
