The invention relates to an apparatus and a method for a person to acquire the skills to be employed in stimulating the harmonious growth of a new-born baby or infant. According to the invention, the apparatus consists of a testing module (A) preferably having the shape and size of a baby or infant which, in each of some main interest zones (a, b, c, d and e), namely the femur, abdomen, breast, forearm and back, has one of some strain gauges (8, 9, 10, 11 and 12) oriented along the longitudinal muscle development axis, intended to take over the mechanical strain and convert it into easy measurable electric signal which is sent, by means of a connection cable (B), to a programming, measuring and controlling module (C) wherefrom the electric values are sent, by means of a serial connection cable (D), to a data storing and processing module (E). According to the invention, the method comprises the following stages: starting, calibrating/gauging, the working procedure and the evaluation, an algorithm (F) stored in the memory of a programmer (22) as a computer program being employed for carrying out said stages.Invenţia se referă la un aparat şi la o metodă pentru dobândirea de aptitudini de către o persoană, care le va folosi la stimularea creşterii armonioase a unui nou-născut sau a unui copil mic.
