The composition according to the present invention increases the production of nitric oxide through the activation of nitric oxide synthase, and thus exhibits superior antihypertensive effects through the vasodilatory activity. Consequently, the composition of the present invention can be used as a composition for preparing functional health foods for preventing and treating hypertension and various cardiovascular diseases caused by complications of hypertension.
