PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vermin threatening apparatus that makes vermin escape by effectively threatening the vermin without the use of sound waves in an audible range, causing noises, and a vermin threatening system.SOLUTION: A vermin threatening apparatus 1, which makes vermin escape to the outside of a predetermined area 10 by threatening the vermin intruding into the predetermined area 10, comprises ultrasonic irradiation means 11 for applying ultrasonic waves. The ultrasonic irradiation means 11 applies the ultrasonic waves with a frequency of 20-32 kHz and at a sound pressure level of 70 dB or more in the whole predetermined area 10. The applied ultrasonic waves threaten the vermin to make the vermin escape to the outside of the predetermined area 10.
