PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasound probe and an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus capable of increasing both the heat dissipation performance and the ultrasound damping performance.SOLUTION: The ultrasound probe includes: a piezoelectric element used for transmitting and receiving ultrasound waves; a signal electrode disposed on a rear surface of the piezoelectric element; and a backing disposed to a rear surface side of the signal electrode.
