The present invention relates to a method for treating thatch biologically and, more particularly, to a microorganism agent (composition) comprising Bacillus subtilis NRB-6, which is a novel microorganism that is cellulolytic and antagonistic against Rhizoctonia solani which is a bacterium causing large patch disease, wherein Bacillus subtilis NRB-6 is isolated and identified in golf link soil； and to a method for removing thatch and preventing large patch disease using the same. The microorganism agent according to the present invention decomposes organic matters in a thatch layer to use the organic matters as a nutrient source, thereby inhibiting the growth of disease-causing bacteria, wherein diseases are induced by active components that is produced by the bacteria, while removing thatch, and has consistent effects in removing thatch and disease-causing bacteria via a mechanism such that bacteria completely inhibit the growth of disease-causing bacteria while inhabiting an application site.본 발명은 대취의 생물학적인 처리방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 Cellulose분해능을 가지는 동시에 라지패취 병원균인 라이족토니아 솔라니(Rhizoctonia solani)에 대한 길항작용을 하는 신규한 미생물 바실러스 서브틸리스 NRB-6(Bacillus subtilisNRB-6)을 골프장 토양에서 분리하여 동정하고, 이 균주를 포함하는 미생물제제(조성물) 및 이를 이용한 대취제거 및 라지패취 병억제 방법에 관한 것이다.본 발명의 미생물제제는 대취 층의 유기물을 분해하여 영양원으로 이용하므로 대취를 제거하는 동시에 균주가 생산하는 활성성분이 병해를 유발하는 병원균의 생육을 억제시키고, 생균이 적용현장에서 서식하면서 병원균의 생육을 원천적으로 억제하는 작용기작에 의해 대취제거와 병원균의 억제에 지속적인 효과가 있다.
