PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a composition for therapeutic and diagnostic use in the treatment of diseases and disorders caused by or related to amyloid or amyloid-like proteins, including amyloidosis.SOLUTION: There are provided the new method and composition that elicit a highly specific and highly effective immune response in an organism, particularly in an animal, more particularly in a mammal or a human.
