The present invention relates to a PYY compound having an amino acid substituted with tryptophan at a position corresponding to position 30 of hPYY (1-36) and a derivative thereof having a modified group attached at a position corresponding to position 7 of hPYY (1-36) . The compounds of the present invention are selective Y2 receptor agonists.
