PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxidative hair dye composition in which the hair dyeing power of an oxidative dye is improved. The present invention provides an oxidative hair dye containing (A) an oxidative dye, (B) an alkaline agent, (C) an oxidant, and (D) at least one selected from the group consisting of ketose having 3 to 5 carbon atoms. The component (D) is an oxidative hair dye composition that is stored as a separate agent from the components (A) and (C). The components (A) to (D) may be applied to hair after mixing and used.
