The invention refers to a body fitting element with negative pressure controlled stiffness comprised of a gas tight envelope (1), a plurality of layers fitted in the envelope (3) and a valve (2) adapted to evacuate the interior of the envelope, characterized in that the layers comprise a core (4a) made of a material with a high Young's modulus and flexibility and a first cover layer at both sides of the core made of a material with high friction coefficient (4b). Orthoses and protective equipments fabricated with the fitting element can be shaped and fitted to the body in an optimal manner.L'invention porte sur un élément d'adaptation de corps, à rigidité contrôlée à pression négative, qui est composé d'une enveloppe étanche aux gaz (1), d'une pluralité de couches adaptées à l'enveloppe (3) et d'une soupape (2) conçue pour évacuer l'intérieur de l'enveloppe. Ledit élément est caractérisé en ce que les couches comprennent une couche centrale (4a) constituée d'un matériau à module de Young élevé et de grande souplesse, et d'une première couche de couverture, sur les deux côtés de la couche centrale, qui est constituée d'un matériau à coefficient de frottement élevé (4b). Des orthoses et des équipements protecteurs fabriqués avec l'élément d'adaptation peuvent être façonnés et adaptés au corps de manière optimale.
