PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of easily identifying the amount of exchangeable metal in plural soils.SOLUTION: The method includes the steps of: (a) measuring total amount of two or three or more components containing specific metals in a soil sample (B) which is collected in the vicinity of a collection point of a soil sample (A); (b) measuring the amount of a plant absorbable component in the specific metal components in the soil sample (B); (c) calculating a calibration formula for predicting the amount of the plant absorbable component in the soil in the specific metals by using a multivariable analysis based on correlation between the measured value of the total amount of the components measured in the step (a) and the measured value of the amount of the plant absorbable component in the components of the metal identified by the measurement in the step (b); and (d) calculating a prediction value of the amount of the plant absorbable component of the specific metal by applying the measured value, in which the total amount of the specific metal in the soil sample (A) is measured, to the calibration formula; to thereby obtain a measured value for calculating the prediction value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3【課題】複数の土壌中の交換性金属の量を簡便に特定する方法を提供する。【解決手段】以下を含む方法:(a)土壌サンプル(A)の採取地に近い場所から採取された土壌サンプル(B)中の、前記特定の金属を包含する2種又は3種以上の成分の全量を測定する工程;(b)土壌サンプル(B)中の前記特定の金属の成分のうち植物吸収性である成分の量を測定する工程;(c)工程(a)で測定した各成分の全量の測定値と、工程(b)で測定した特定の金属の成分のうち植物吸収性である成分の量の測定値との相関から、前記特定の金属のうち土壌中の植物吸収性である成分の量を予測する検量式を多変量解析により求める工程;及び(d)前記土壌サンプル(A)における上記特定の金属の全量を測定した測定値を前記検量式に当てはめて前記特定の金属の植物吸収性である成分の量の予測値を求め、該予測値を求める測定値とする工程を含む。【選択図】図3
