<;P>;PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (AD/HD) model non-human mammal developing behavioral disorder extremely close to human attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (AD/HD). <;P>;SOLUTION: The attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (AD/HD) model non-human mammal has a mutant gene obtained by mutation transfer of a gene mutant that is a gene abnormality to a non-human mammal DNA having a neuronal nicotinic acetylcholine receptor α4 subunit (CHRNA4) gene or a β2 subunit (CHRNB2) gene relating to human autosomal dominant nocturnal frontal lobe epilepsy, and further by introducing a specific probe. Effectiveness of a tested substance on AD/HD is confirmed to screen AD/HD preventing agent or treating agent, and the effectiveness of a tested agent on AD/HD can be evaluated by using the epilepsy model non-human mammal as the attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (AD/HD) model non-human mammal. <;P>;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
