Durch die zusätzliche Benetzung mit einer Wasser/Alkohol enthaltenden Flüssigkeitwird erreicht, dass die Wirkstoffschicht eine andere Beschaffenheit erhält, nämlich weniger transparent und lackartig, sondern eher kreideartig und intransparent wird.
