PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advancing unit for an endoscope, an advancing unit that has no possibility of giving discomfort or damage to a patient because no opening/closing leg for contacting the enteric wall is used, that can shorten operation time because the advancing speed is fast, and that brings a sense of security during operation because the unit has no mechanically moving mechanism, has a simple structure and has no fault as well as providing low manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A plurality of injection nozzles 6 for injecting high pressure air toward the rear is formed in an advancing nozzle organizer 3 on the tip end side of a supporting tube 2 in which the tip end side 21A of an endoscope tube 21 is attached. In a suction nozzle organizer 7 on the rear end side of the supporting tube 2, there is formed a suction nozzle, with a nozzle hole 10A open in a nozzle formation groove 9. The injection nozzle 6 is communicated with an air compressor through an air distribution path and air supply path 12 which are formed in the advancing nozzle organizer 3. The suction nozzle 10 is communicated with a suction pump through a suction assembly path and air suction path which are formed in the suction nozzle organizer 7.
