The present invention relates to isolated immunoglobulin heavy chain polypeptides and isolated immunoglobulin light chain polypeptides that bind to programmed death-1 (PD-1) proteins. The present invention provides a PD-1 binding agent comprising the above immunoglobulin heavy chain polypeptide and immunoglobulin light chain polypeptide. The invention also provides related vectors, compositions, and methods of using PD-1 binding agents to treat cancer or infectious diseases.
