A pad for an associated orthopedic brace has a laminate structure including a first layer and a second layer. The first layer is formed from a pliant material having a plurality of interstitial perforations formed therein. The second layer abuts the first layer and is formed from an elastic pliant material which projects outward through the perforations of the first layer to form nubs that are raised relative to the first layer. The nubs have a relatively high friction coefficient when coupled with the skin of the associated orthopedic brace wearer. As such, the nubs, in combination with the first layer, define an uneven skin contact surface which renders the pad and associated brace resistant to migration when mounted on the body of a wearer.
