PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding type wheelchair which can suppress a seat pipe fixed on a seating sheet from being shifted in a front/rear direction with respect to a seat pipe support part supporting the seat pipe, and facilitates assembly.SOLUTION: A folding type wheelchair 1 includes: right/left seat pipes 8 fixed on a seating sheet 4 a folding mechanism 5 fixed with the right/left seat pipes 8 and right/left side frames 2 arranged with seat pipe support parts 20. When the seating sheet 4 is expanded, the seat pipe 8 is supported by the seat pipe support part 20, the seat pipe 8 being engaged with a stopper member 9 made of synthetic resin, and fixed. In the expanded state of the seating sheet 4, the stopper member 9 is interposed between the seat pipe 8 and seat pipe support part 20.
