PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ureteral stent with less irritation or pain felt by a user. A ureteral stent having a body and a tail is disclosed. A stent body 11 is intended to be placed in a patient's kidney, a renal section 13, a ureter section 15 intended to be placed in at least a portion of the patient's ureter, and a proximal body of the stent. It has a proximal section 16 located at the distal end. The tail has at least one thread intended to terminate in the patient's bladder. The flexibility of the proximal section exceeds the flexibility of the ureteral region of the stent.
