To provide a ureteral stent intended to keep a flow of urine between a kidney and a bladder of a patient.SOLUTION: A ureteral stent 10 includes a body part 11 and a tail part 12. The body part of the stent includes a kidney section 13 intended to be positioned in a kidney R of a patient, a ureteral section 14 intended to be positioned at least in a part of a ureter of the patient, and a proximal section 15 positioned in a proximal end of the body part of the stent. The tail part has at least one thread 16 intended to terminate within a bladder V of the patient. The stent is characterized that flexibility of the proximal section exceeds that of the ureteral section.
