PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of feed for a pet capable of obtaining feed for a pet excellent in flexibility even from material containing muscle such as Achilles tendon of cow and a hard portion such as pig ear.SOLUTION: A production method of feed for a pet comprises: (1) a washing step of washing material containing a hard portion with water (2) an immersion step of immersing the material through the washing step in water soluble treatment liquid containing propylene glycol and glycerin and (3) a drying step of drying the material through the immersion step to obtain feed for a pet.
