SOLUTION: It is a magnetic resonance imaging system 200 that generates image data by making RF pulses irradiate a subject 150 placed ON a top plate 4 that moves ON the photographing position where static and inclined magnetic fields have been formed and collecting magnetic resonance signals generated from the subject 150. During the collection of magnetic resonance signals and the system stops generating the drive signals to move the top plate 4.
