PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange a cover covering a side face and an upper side of a conveyance device in a sugar cane harvester and prevent scattering of dust in a periphery.SOLUTION: A sugar cane harvester 1 includes: a base cutter 3 a conveyance device comprising a front conveyance device 4 and a rear conveyance device 5 conveying a stem reaped by the base cutter 3 in a laterally fallen posture and a processing part comprising a chopping device 6 cutting a stem conveyed by the conveyance device in a predetermined dimension. In the front conveyance device 4 serving as the conveyance device, a plurality of upper rolls 402 and lower rolls 403 rotate while facing each other between right/left side plates 401, 401. A hole in a vertical direction is arranged in the right/left side plates 401, 401 for enabling the upper rolls 402 to oscillate vertically with respect to the lower rolls 403 according to a conveyed stem amount. Covers 425, 427, 428 are arranged which cover at least a drive device driving the lower roll 403 to rotate.
