PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for eliminating organic acid and an acidic gas for preventing deterioration of microfilm due to organic acid generated from the microfilm that is stored in archives, museums, libraries, etc.
SOLUTION: Air in a storage room including organic acid such as an acetic acid gas generated from the microfilm is taken into a box-shaped body having an air intake port 9 and an air blowout port of the organic acid/acidic gas eliminating device comprising a pre-filter 11, an adsorption panel 10, a blower 13, and a middle to high performance filter 12. Air in the room including organic acid and the acidic gas such as acetic acid gas generated from the microfilm is cleaned by the device to be returned as clean air. Above processes are repeated to replace the air in the room with clean air.
