PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purification device used for the sterilization-deodorization of a space, in which electrolytic water generated by an electrode is swiftly moved to a filter member, thus the concentration of the electrolytic water included in a filter member is increased, and a sterilization-deodorization effect is swiftly exhibited.SOLUTION: There is provided an air purification device comprising: a water feed tank 7; a tray 9; an electrolytic tank 11; an electrode 10; a storage tank 13; a filter member 6; water exhaust means 12; a water exhaust tank 8; and control means 17. The control means 17 is composed in such a manner that, when electrolysis by the electrode 10 is finished, in the case full-water is not detected by full-water detection means 16, the water exhaust means 12 is operated, thus the electrolytic water generated in the electrolytic tank 11 is swiftly fed to the storage tank 13, the time for which the concentration of the electrolytic water in the filter member 6 and the storage tank 13 reaches an objective concentration can be reduced, and the sterilization-deodorization effect can be swiftly be exhibited.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】空間の除菌脱臭を目的に使用される空気浄化装置において、電極により生成した電解水を速やかにフィルタ部材へ移動させることでフィルタ部材に含まれる電解水の濃度を上昇させ、速やかに除菌脱臭効果を発揮する空気浄化装置を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】給水タンク7と、トレイ9と、電解槽11と、電極10と、貯留槽13と、フィルタ部材6と、排水手段12と、排水タンク8と、制御手段17と、を有し、制御手段17は、電極10による電気分解が終了した時に、満水検知手段16が満水を検知していない場合に、排水手段12を動作させるという構成にしたことにより、電解槽11内に生成した電解水は貯留槽13に速やかに供給されるので、フィルタ部材6及び貯留槽13内の電解水濃度が目的濃度に到達する時間を短縮し、速やかに除菌脱臭効果を発揮することができる。【選択図】図1
