PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively carry out antibacterial treatment of a room interior without adversely affecting a body of a person in the room.
SOLUTION: Water with eluted silver ions having an antibacterial effect is supplied from a solenoid valve unit 2A to a nozzle unit 2C via a nozzle pipe arrangement 2b, and the water is jetted out as mist into the room. The mist jetting action is carried out for just a predetermined time in a state, for example, carrying out ventilation operation or circulation ventilation operation by a bathroom air conditioner 3. When it is detected that there is no one in the room by a human body detecting sensor 69A, antibacterial capacity in the room is enhanced by increasing a concentration of silver ions to, for example, 300 ppb. On the contrary, when it is detected that there is a person in the room by the human body detecting sensor 69A, the concentration of silver ions is reduced to, for example, 100 ppb to prevent adverse effects to the body of the person.
