PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nurse call system capable of changing the content of display in a hallway lamp by a simple operation without mounting an exclusive switch on the hallway lamp.
SOLUTION: The hallway lamp 2 has a human body sensor 22 for switching the display in a display 21. The human body sensor 22 has two degrees of sensitivity: a first degree of sensitivity for detecting the approach of a person from distance and a second degree of sensitivity for detecting the motion of a person close to the sensor such as the approach of a hand. The hallway lamp CPU 23 is in the first sensitivity state in the standby time, and the degree of sensitivity is switched to the second degree of sensitivity when the approach of a person is detected. If the motion is detected with the first degree of sensitivity, the display 21 in the standby state is activated to display names of patients only. If the motion is detected with the second degree of sensitivity, the display is controlled to display detailed information on the patients.
