The cylinder has a heterogeneous internal structure arranged to define landmarks detectable by X-ray or magnetic resonance imaging. Additional features include an essentially flat handle, an internal gas channel and contrast markers. In some variants of the device, the heterogeneous structure comprises air-filled pockets.
