PURPOSE: A producing method of livestock feed using curcumin, and the livestock feed are provided to improve the growth rate and the immunity of domestic animal. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of livestock feed using curcumin comprises the following steps: cutting and washing curcuma longa, and extracting the curcuma longa using 70-90% methyl alcohol for 50-70 minutes for 1-3 times； cooling the curcuma longa extract before centrifugal separating and filtering to obtain liquid； dissolving the obtained curcuma longa liquid with the 70-90% methyl alcohol at 40-60 deg C in the vacuum condition； drying and sterilizing the concentrated curcuma longa liquid for 15-20 seconds to obtain curcumin powder； and adding 0.01-0.03wt% of curcumin powder into pig feed.본 발명은 통상적인 가축용 사료의 제조방법에 있어서, 가축용 사료에 커큐민(curcumin)을 첨가하여 제조하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가축용 사료의 제조방법 및 상기 방법으로 제조된 가축용 사료에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 커큐민(curcumin)이 첨가된 가축용 사료를 가축에게 급여함으로써, 가축의 성장률 및 면역력을 개선시키고, 도축 후 가축 고기의 pH, 수분활성도 및 가축 고기 가열시 가열감량이 개선되는 효과를 지니는 가축용 사료의 제조방법 및 상기 방법으로 제조된 가축용 사료에 관한 것이다.
