PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reclining type wheelchair for reducing a burden on or fatigue of a caregiver or a bathing helper in using the reclining type wheelchair for bathing a person requiring nursing care, in the reclining type wheelchair equipped with a mechanism for elevating and lowering a seat surface and moving the seat surface forward and backward while keeping the seat surface in an approximately horizontal state by moving in connection with the tilting movement of a backrest part.SOLUTION: In a reclining type wheelchair including a pair of leg frames 1-1, a seat surface frame 3-1 which can be elevated and lowered and move forward and backward by a reclining actuator, a back frame 2-2 moving in connection with the seat surface frame, and a step frame 4-1 which moves in connection with the back frame and rotates in a vertical direction, a link mechanism and an interlocking mechanism for increasing a height of a seat part by elevating the seat surface frame while being kept in an approximately horizontal state by moving in connection with a backward tilting movement of the back frame and for reducing the height of the seat part by lowering the seat surface frame while being kept in the approximately horizontal state by moving in connection with a rising movement of the backrest part are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】背もたれ部の傾動に連動して座面がほぼ水平状態を保持したまま昇降及び前後動する機構を備えたリクライニング式車いすであって、リクライニング式車いすを要介護者の入浴用に使用しても介護者あるいは入浴介助者の受ける負担や疲労度を小さくすることができるリクライニング式車いすの提供。【解決手段】一対の脚フレーム１－１と、リクライニング用アクチャエータにて昇降及び前後動可能な座面フレーム３－１と、座面フレームに連動する背当てフレーム２－２と、背当てフレームに連動して上下方向に回動するステップフレーム４－１を有するリクライニング式車いすであって、背当てフレームの後方への傾動に連動して座面フレームがほぼ水平状態を保持したまま上昇し座部の高さが高くなるとともに、背もたれ部の起立動作に連動して座面フレームがほぼ水平状態を保持したまま下降して座部の高さが低くなるリンク機構及び連動機構を備えた。【選択図】図１
