The present invention relates to a composition for controlling Ulva sp. macroalgae and a growth control method of Ulva sp. macroalgae using the composition. The composition according to the present invention comprises: an oxidizer; and one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of citric acid, N-vanillylnonanamide, and nonanoic acid. It has been checked based on Colbys method that a superadditive action did not occur, but a remarkably excellent synergism occurred with respect to control efficiency of the marine algae when the composition was used in control of marine algae. The composition according to the present invention is applicable in efficiently reducing the marine algae when the marine algae are generated in a large amount, and can reduce side effects on the environment since active components of the composition can be used in a low concentration due to the synergism. Further, the composition according to the present invention may function as an ecological environment friendly marine algae-controlling agent since the active components are easily decomposed in a natural condition after showing activities within a short time. Further, the present invention has an effect of providing a novel use of the oxyacetamide-based compound by checking that excellent control of the marine algae may be induced by mefenacet or flufenacet when an oxyacetamide-based compound of which a use has been known as a herbicide, more specifically, mefenacet or flufenacet is used for controlling the marine algae.본 발명은 갈파래 속 대형조류 방제용 조성물 및 이를 이용한해조류의 생육제어 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른해조류 방제용 조성물은 산화제와; 구연산(citric acid), N-바닐릴노난아마이드(N-Vanillylnonanamide) 및 노나노익산(Nonanoic acid)으로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 1종 이상의 화합물을 함께 포함하고 이를해조류의 방제에 사용할 경우,해조류 방제 효율에 대하여 상가적 작용이 아닌 현저히 우수한 동반상승효과(synergism)가 발생하는 것을 콜비방법(Colby's method)에 근거하여 확인하였으므로, 본 발명은 해조류의 대량 발생시 이를 효율적으로 경감시키는데 적용 가능하며, 상기 동반상승효과로 인하여 유효성분을 낮은 농도로 사용할 수 있으므로 환경에 미치는 부작용이 경감될 수 있으며, 유효성분이 짧은 시간 내에 활성을 나타낸 후 자연조건에서 쉽게 분해되는 특징이 있으므로 생태
