PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation support device and a data collection method capable of further enhancing an assist effect to an operation of an object person.SOLUTION: An operation support device of an embodiment comprises: an output part a detection part an acquisition part and a control part. The output part outputs assist force for supplementing an operation of an object person who wears the operation support device. The detection part detects a wearing feeling of the operation support device felt by the object person. The acquisition part acquires assist effect of the assist force to the operation of the object person.
