PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a fishing rod using a metal pipe having a tapered shape with uniform tapering as a tip part.SOLUTION: A fishing rod includes a tip part made of a metal material extended in a tapered manner, with the tip side of the tip rod being a solid structure of an arbitrary length, including a hollow structure continuing from the solid structure, a part next to the tip part forming a slender cylindrical shape formed of a fiber-reinforced resin material, and a joint part formed of either a metal material or a fiber-reinforced resin material, which joins the tip part and the part next to the tip part.【課題】釣竿として、先細りの一様なテーパー形状を持つ金属パイプ管を穂先として用いた釣竿が知られている。【解決手段】釣竿は、テーパー状に伸長された金属材料からなり、穂先竿の先端側を任意長の中実構造とし、中実構造に続いて中空構造を含む穂先部と、維強化樹脂材料により形成される細長い円筒形状を成す穂持部と、金属材料又は繊維強化樹脂材料の何れかにより形成され、穂先部と穂持部とを接合する継ぎ手部とを有する。【選択図】図１
