PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid powder cosmetic blended highly with an organic laminated powder which is excellent in brightness though inferior in solvent resistance and heat resistance: more specifically, a solid powder cosmetic smoothly extending and spreading when in use, excellent in finished and cosmetic brightness, impact resistance and moldability, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The solid powder cosmetic is obtained by mixing a cosmetic base material containing the organic laminated powder and an oil agent with a solvent, filling the mixture in a container, and removing the solvent in a liquid state. The solid powder cosmetic has an organic laminated powder content in the cosmetic base material of 30-50 mass%, and an oil agent content of 20-40 mass%.
