PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a solid powder cosmetic which contains a large amount of luster powder such as a pearl agent or lame agent, has sufficient impact resistance as well as excellent lustrous appearance of a coated surface, and further provides an excellent application feeling.SOLUTION: In the method for producing the solid powder cosmetic, (a) 30-90 mass%, relative to a cosmetic base material, of a luster powder and (b) an ester of hardened ricinus and/or ricinus and a 10-22C higher fatty acid are used as essential components. In molding, pressure molding is performed with vibration of frequency 10-40 kHz and amplitude 10-100 &mum.
