PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide surgical access devices that facilitate inserting and removing surgical instruments during laparoscopic surgical procedures through a single incision.SOLUTION: An elongated body of each of a plurality of access ports 700a, 700b inserted into a single incision 740 through the abdominal wall of a patient includes a telescopic tube surrounded by an elastomeric sheath.
