PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device suitable for handling germ cells, especially handling germ cells in cryopreservation or culture.SOLUTION: The device 10 for germ cells is provided with a hollow fiber 11 opened at both ends, an injection needle 12 connected to an end of the hollow fiber 11 and forming a flow channel by continuing the inner space of the needle to the inner space of the hollow fiber 11, and a syringe 14 applying a suction pressure to the inner space of the injection needle 12. A germ cells 31 can be taken in the inner space of the hollow fiber 11 by applying suction pressure with the syringe 14. The hole of the hollow fiber 11 can pass a culture solution 32 and a vitrifying solution 41 while preventing the passage of the germ cells 31 and, accordingly, the culture liquid 32 in the inner space of the hollow fiber 11 and an intracellular fluid of the germ cells 31 can be substituted with the vitrifying solution 41 while keeping the state of the germ cells 31 included in the inner space of the hollow fiber 11.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】生殖細胞の取り扱いに好適であり、特に凍結保存や培養に際しての生殖細胞の取り扱いに適したデバイスを提供する。【解決手段】生殖細胞用デバイス10は、両端が開口された中空糸11と、中空糸11の一端に接続されて、その内部空間が中空糸11の内部空間と連続して流路となる注射針12と、注射針12の内部空間に対して吸引圧を付与する注射筒14とを具備する。注射筒14により吸引圧を付与すると、中空糸11の内部空間へ生殖細胞31を取り込むことができる。中空糸11の孔は、生殖細胞31を通過させないが、培養液32やガラス化溶液41を通過させるので、中空糸11の内部空間に生殖細胞31が内包された状態を維持しながら、中空糸11の内部空間の培養液32及び生殖細胞31の細胞内液などをガラス化溶液41に置換することができる。【選択図】図1
