PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide puffed soybean hull which is obtained through a process of eliminating soybean smell peculiar to soybean hull to produce excellently-flavored soybean hull and broadly utilize the soybean hull for food.SOLUTION: Puffed soybean hull is obtained by subjecting soybean hull to puffing treatment under conditions satisfying the following formulas: y&ge125x+125, 0.15&lex&le0.6, y&le200, wherein x is the pressure (MPa) and y is the temperature (°C), in the puffing treatment.
