PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush cutter capable of being stably placed on a horizontal supporting surface such as the ground by felling a support lever.SOLUTION: A bush cutter 10 comprises: a cutter unit 20 disposed at a front end portion of a support lever 11 a controller unit 30 disposed at a rear end portion of the support lever 11 and a cover 40 fixed at the front end portion of the support lever 11 for covering the rear side of a rotary blade 24. In a placed state having the support lever 11 felled on a horizontal supporting face S, a front end portion of the bush cutter 10 includes: a cover grounding portion 41 for grounding on a supporting surface S, and a rear end portion of the bush cutter 10 includes: a rear end housing grounding portion 32 at a rear end housing 31 thereof for grounding on a support surface.
