PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus that achieves both user-friendliness and reliable grounding.SOLUTION: An endoscope apparatus 1 according to the invention includes, a bendable long insertion part 10 having an imaging device in its end portion, a display part 40 that displays images captured by the imaging device, an operation part 20 used to bend the insertion part, a housing 61 that houses the display part and the operation part and to which the insertion part is connected, a battery 62 attached to the housing, and an earth part 70 electrically connected to the housing. The earth part has a lead part 71 connected to the housing and a grounding part 72 connected to the lead part. The portion of the earth part on the grounding part side of its center with respect to the longitudinal direction thereof is heavier in weight than the remaining portion thereof.
