The present inventors have found that an excellent therapeutic effect for pancreatic cancer can be obtained by administering an IL-6 inhibitor and an antimetabolite to a pancreatic cancer patient, and have completed the present invention. Furthermore, the present inventors have found that metastatic foci can be reduced and ascites disappeared from human pancreatic cancer.本発明者らは、膵癌患者にIL-6阻害剤と代謝拮抗剤とを投与することにより優れた膵癌治療効果が得られることを見出し、本発明を完成した。さらにヒト膵癌からの転移巣の縮小および腹水の消失が可能であることを見出した。
