PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for the oral cavity having excellent retentivity of an ascorbic acid phosphate ester or a salt thereof in the oral cavity.SOLUTION: There is provided a composition for the oral cavity which is obtained by blending (B) 0.6 to 1.5 mass% of xanthan gum, (C) 0.3 to 1.5 mass% of carrageenan and (D) 32 to 50 mass% of sorbitol in a composition for the oral cavity in which (A) an ascorbic acid phosphate ester or a salt thereof is blended, wherein the mass ratio (B)/(C) is 1 or more. Further, there is provided the composition for the oral cavity in which (E) 0.01 to 5 mass% of citric acid and/or a salt thereof is blended.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】アスコルビン酸リン酸エステル又はその塩の口腔内での滞留性が優れる口腔用組成物を提供する。【解決手段】（Ａ）アスコルビン酸リン酸エステル及び／又はその塩を配合した口腔用組成物に、（Ｂ）キサンタンガムを０．６～１．５質量％、（Ｃ）カラギーナンを０．３～１．５質量％、及び（Ｄ）ソルビトールを３２～５０質量％配合してなり、（Ｂ）／（Ｃ）が質量比として１以上であることを特徴とする口腔用組成物。更に、（Ｅ）クエン酸及び／又はその塩を０．０１～５質量％配合した上記口腔用組成物。【選択図】なし
