Provided is an oral composition whereby solubility of ascorbic acid phosphate ester or a salt thereof in a neutral range is improved, sedimentation and turbidity during low-temperature storage are minimized, and a clear appearance is maintained. An oral composition containing (A) ascorbic acid phosphate ester or a salt thereof, into which oral composition are blended: (B) a non-ionic surfactant selected from polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil for which the mean number of moles of E.O. added is 40-100 moles, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether for which the alkyl group is C16-18 and the mean number of moles of E.O. added is 20-40 moles, and polyglyceryl fatty acid ester for which the fatty acid is C12-18 and (C) an aromatic compound selected from isopropyl methylphenol, triclosan, and thymol (A)/(C) being 1-50 in terms of mass ratio and the pH at 25oC being 6.5-8.0. Furthermore, the oral composition, into which (D) sodium alkylsulphate is also blended.
