It is intended to provide a method of producing asolid preparation disintegrating in the oral cavitycharacterized by comprising mixing fine subtilaescontaining a medicinal ingredient with an additivecontaining .delta.-mannitol and tableting the mixture； and asolid preparation disintegrating in the oral cavityproduced thereby. This solid preparation disintegrating inthe oral cavity has such a strength (hardness) as sufferingfrom no defect even under stresses in transporting,packaging with the use of an automated packaging machine,taking out from a PTP and so on.
