PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fitness to the root parts of legs in front and back sections.SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes: plane gathers formed by fixing a leg periphery elastic extension/contraction member 6 in an extended state at both side parts in the width direction of the absorbent article one center easy-to-fold part 10 in the longitudinal direction over the longitudinal direction center of the absorbent article at the center of the width direction and a pair of side easy-to-fold parts 11 in a roughly chevron shape or in a roughly truncated inverse chevron shape extending from the longitudinal direction middle part of the center easy-to-fold part 10 toward the longitudinal direction end edge side.
