PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article whose tape part can be easily opened at one touch, which can be manufactured by a simple manufacturing process, and is simple in structure.SOLUTION: An absorbent article is provided with side flaps, side panels, and fastening tapes from a center part in a width direction of a back toward both side parts, and the fastening tapes are provided with fastening means and picking margins of end parts. In the absorbent article, the side panels are folded with first folding parts as valleys, the fastening means are engaged with non-woven fabric surfaces of the side flaps, are further folded with second folding parts as valleys, temporarily stopped at parts where respective folded side panel fragments face each other, the second folding parts are nearer the inside in the width direction of the absorbent article than the first folding parts in the state that they are folded at the first folding parts, and the picking margins are exposed nearer the inside in the width direction than the first folding parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
