PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a genetically modified bird that enables the production of female offspring of the genetically modified bird, and to provide a genetically modified bird produced by the method for producing the genetically modified bird. SOLUTION: An offspring derived from an embryo in a fertilized egg laid by a female of a genetically modified bird is hatched by a production method including a step of artificially culturing the embryo in the fertilized egg in a state of being in contact with an egg shell. Thus, offspring are obtained from the fertilized eggs laid by the female of the genetically modified bird.
