The present invention relates to a plant cultivation apparatus which lets an entire part of a greenhouse (10) be used as a cultivation space to enable mass-production of plants. According to the present invention, the plant cultivation apparatus using an up-down system includes: a driving means (20) which is installed on truss units built in a horizontal and forward-rearward direction to cross the upper parts of inner columns (11) of the greenhouse at predetermined intervals while including a deceleration motor (21), a driving shaft (22), and a reel member (23) axially installed on the driving shaft (22) to have winding grooves (231) spirally formed thereon as well as being formed at a predetermined length； a lifting means (30) which is installed to be driven by the driving means (20) and includes first to fifth lifting members (31 to 35)； and left and right cultivation gutters (40, 40) which are individually installed and bound on the right and left ends of the first to fifth lifting members to be lifted up and down. The single deceleration motor (21) and the driving shaft can lift the individual ones of the left and right cultivation gutters (40, 40) of the first and fifth lifting members alternately and at the same time.본 발명은, 온실면적 전체를 재배공간으로 사용할 수 있게 함으로써 식물의 대량생산이 가능토록 하는 업다운 시스템을 이용한 식물의 재배장치에 관한 것이다.이와 같은 본 발명에 따른 업다운 시스템을 이용한 식물의 재배장치는, 온실(10)의 내부 기둥(11)들 상부를 수평으로 가로지르게 전후 일정간격으로 시공되는 트러스(12)에 설치되며 감속모터(21)와 구동축(22) 및 상기 구동축에 축 설치되며 권취홈(231)이 나선상으로 형성된 소정길이의 릴부재(23)를 구비하는 구동수단(20)과, 상기 구동수단(20)에 의해 작동하게 설치되며 제1~5승강부재(31)~(35)를 구비하는 승강수단(30) 및 상기 제1~5승강부재의 각 좌·우단에 각각 결속설치되어 승강하는 좌우의 재배거터(40)(40')를 포함하여 구성되어, 상기 하나의 감속모터와 구동축으로 제1~5승강부재의 각 좌우 재배거터를 동시에 하나 걸러 하나씩 승·하강시켜 주게 구성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
