PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage machine that allows a user to intuitively fine-adjust an operation of treatment elements.SOLUTION: The chair type massager 1 includes: massage balls 24 serving as the treatment elements for massaging a body of the user operation equipment 40 serving as an operation part for specifying the operation of the massage balls 24 by the user and a control part 31 for controlling the operation of the massage balls 24 in accordance with the operation of the operation equipment 40. The operation equipment 40 has a sensor 50 for detecting at least one of the magnitude of an operating force which is the force acting on the operation equipment 40 from outside and an operation direction which is a change direction of a position on which the operation force acts.
